Maintain An Attitude Of Faith.....

Miracles don't just happen. Faith is required and God's Word produces the faith necessary for miracles to take place. This is perfectly illustrated in Acts 14:8, take a look: "And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: the same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice, stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked." Hallelujah! Did you see that? Three things to take home from here.

(1) The man paid attention to God's Word.
(2) Faith came to him as he heard and released himself to the Word.
(3) That's how a miracle took place.

Now don't say: "When it happens to me, then I'll believe." No, it may never happen. This is why we teach God's Word so folks can understand how the Kingdom of God works. In Hebrews 4:2, the bible says: "For unto us was the Gospel preached as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it." See, here it talks about those who didn't benefit from the Word that was preached because they didn't MIX THE WORD WITH FAITH. So what are you going to do? Don't get passive with the Word. Respond in faith (by word or action) when God's Word comes to you and it will produce for you what it talks about. Hallelujah!
