  • The media (those that will report this protest) will tell you that a few hundred veterans turned up to protest the unfair persecution of Northern Ireland veterans.

I can tell you that bikes alone number over 12,000 and Central London has been brought to a stand still.

There are an estimated 4 Millions veterans in this country, most of which served in Northern Ireland at some point,
and you'd be very hard pressed to find one that does not agree that the IRA lead witch hunt has to stop and stop now.

Despite all the promises by Politicians nothing has been done.

Well they were warned if nothing was done then non violent direct action was the only step left to the veterans.

Today Central London has been brought to a stand still and this is just the tip of the iceberg,
as direct action is now the only option they have left us,
Direct action is what they will get.

Featured in the photo is Denis Hutching's, whilst battling a terminal illness he has just appeared in court to plead not guilty to a murder change he has been cleared of no less than 4 times before?

Currently there are soldiers A-Z facing just as trumped up charges as Dennis and that's just the start of the witch hunt.

You cannot in all good conscience say that convicted and suspected terrorist and murders can walk the streets of Britain free
and then try and persecute the very veterans that the government of the day sent to Northern Ireland to uphold the peace?

Stand with the veterans and say enough is enough, time to let Northern Ireland heal.

  • 'Our Lungs Are on Fire': Climate Campaigners Rally at Brazilian Embassies to Protest Destruction of Amazon Rainforest

Climate campaigners demonstrated outside the Brazilian embassies in London, Paris, and Madrid on Friday to protest what they say is the Bolsonaro regime's role in dozens of fires that have ravaged large swathes of the Amazon rainforest over the past three weeks.

The Extinction Rebellion movement, which helped organize the demonstrations, said "every inch that continues to burn takes us further away from any hope of sustaining life on this earth."

"The Amazon is fundamental to the life support systems of this planet and for us as humans," Extinction Rebellion wrote in an Instagram post ahead of the protests. "We cannot sit in silence while life on Earth is being destroyed. ⁣⁣⁣We need governments around the world to speak up against Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro—and put pressure on him to stop these devastating fires and protect the Amazon."

The protests came amid growing global outrage over the Bolsonaro government's support for deforestation and refusal to take action to combat the fires, many of which were intentionally and illegally set to clear land, according to the New York Times.

Carlos Nobre, a senior researcher with the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of São Paulo, blamed Bolsonaro for encouraging the destruction of the Amazon rainforest, which is often called "the lungs of the world" for its capacity to absorb carbon dioxide.

"The situation is very bad. It will be terrible," Nobre told the Guardian. "A very large number of these fires are due to the cultural push that ministers are giving. They are pushing deforestation because it is good for the economy. Those who do illegal deforestation are feeling empowered."

Demonstrators on Friday echoed that assessment. Peter McCall, a pub owner based in London who attended the embassy protest, said he decided to take part because "the Amazon is so vital to all life on Earth, including ours."

"I'm scared that if we lose it then there won't be any hope for our survival," said McCall, "and yet the Brazilian government [is] actively encouraging its deforestation and exploitation."

The fires, which have been burning for nearly a month, forced the Brazilian state of Amazonas to declare an emergency last week.

As the Guardian reported Friday, the fires have "sparked international concerns about the destruction of an essential carbon sink" and increased pressure on France, the U.K., and other countries to cut off trade relations with the Bolsonaro government.

António Guterres, secretary general of the United Nations, said Thursday he is "deeply concerned by the fires in the Amazon rainforest."

"In the midst of the global climate crisis, we cannot afford more damage to a major source of oxygen and biodiversity," Guterres tweeted. "The Amazon must be protected."

Bolsonaro, who campaigned in part on opening the Amazon to corporate exploitation, has not taken action to stop the fires. As Common Dreams reported Wednesday, the Brazilian president suggested without evidence that non-governmental organizations may have started the fires to embarrass him.

In a statement on Friday, the Indigenous Environmental Network and Rainforest Action Network said the fires devastating the Amazon are "not only a global emergency, they are a testament to Bolonsaro's racism, ignorance, and greed."

"His words and deeds have paved the way for these man-made fires," the groups said. "We know that protecting tropical rainforests, stopping fossil fuel emissions, and upholding the rights of Indigenous Peoples are some of the most important ways to address the global impacts of the growing climate crisis. That's true in the Amazon. That's true in the Indonesia rainforests. That's true at Standing Rock."

  • The Lone Ranger No Longer Rides - in California
(Not so funny when you stop and think about it?)

The Lone Ranger was arrested in Lone Pine, California for the crime of illegally transferring silver bullets. The famed masked man had just apprehended an armed felon after shooting the gun out of his hand. As was his practice for the last eighty years, he gave a silver bullet to the outlaw’s victim.

She was a kindly old widow who was robbed and held captive by the desperado. This lady, grateful that her life and property were restored, treasured the silver bullet as a symbol that justice was done.

The trouble started when she showed the bullet to her weekly garden club. Upon seeing the gleaming memento, one lady fainted. Another lady gasped that they were all going to die. A third lady, who was also a member of CHA (California Hysterics Anonymous), warned that where there was a bullet there had to be a gun. During the shocked silence, an attendee desperately summoned the Sheriff on her cell phone.

When the Sheriff heard their story he struggled to stifle a laugh. He knew the old gentleman on the big white horse. He also appreciated how many criminals the Lone Ranger had captured over the years. However, since California voters passed Proposition 63, he had to uphold the law.

Predictably, he found the masked man enjoying a beer at the Dry Gulch Saloon back in town. “Thanks for helping old widow Smith,” he said, “but did you really give her a silver bullet?” “Yes,” replied the Lone Ranger, “after all that’s my trademark. Got a problem with that?”

“Well, yes,” hesitated the sheriff. “Ya see – under Proposition 63, you’ve got to be a licensed firearms dealer to give anyone a bullet. “Are you kidding?” asked the Lone Ranger.
“Wish I was,” said the embarrassed sheriff, “and to boot whoever receives the bullet has to be registered with the Department of Justice.”
“Holy guacamole!” exclaimed the masked man. “Did I do anything else wrong?”
“Well,” said the sheriff, looking even more sheepish now, “there’s the little matter of you shooting a gun out of the outlaw’s hand.”
“What!” said the Lone Ranger. “If I hadn’t done that, the skunk would have plugged me for sure.”
“I know that,” admitted the Sheriff, “but he’ll probably sue you for failing to retreat and using unnecessary force. If they convict you, they’ll take your six-shooters away for good. Which reminds me, according to California law, your pistols have too large a capacity. If I were you, I’d convert those six-shooters into five-shooters as quick as you can.”
“Jumpin’ Junipers!” exclaimed the Lone Ranger. “I’d better tell this to my faithful Indian companion, Tonto.”
“Hold on,” said the Sheriff. “I need to remind you that Indians are now referred to as Native Americans. We privileged male palefaces have got to remember that.”

As the Lone Ranger sat in shocked silence, the sheriff explained his rights and proceeded to take him in.

Postscript: Upon being provided an attorney at state expense, the outlaw successfully sued the Lone Ranger. He claimed that he could no longer work since he had suffered the permanent loss of his trigger finger.

Governor Gavin Newsom urged imposing the maximum sentence for possession of illegal ammunition and a firearm that exceeds lawful capacity. He received a huge monetary award, forcing the Lone Ranger to sell the silver mine.

Tonto was deemed innocent, but victimized by virtue of being a member of an oppressed minority. He was given land by the state and now operates a very profitable casino.

After getting out of jail, the Lone Ranger could not find a job since he was now an ex-con. Fortunately, Tonto lets him do light janitorial work at the casino and sleep in the basement.

  • Scientists Urge UN to Add Environmental Destruction to Geneva Conventions' List of War Crimes
    https://www.commondreams.org/news/2019/07/24/scientists-urge-un-add-environmental-destruction-geneva-conventions-list-war-crimes
    Jessica Corbett, staff writer

In a letter to the editor published Tuesday by the journal Nature, two dozen scientists from around the world urged the United Nations' International Law Commission to adopt a Fifth Geneva Convention that creates protections for the environment in armed conflicts.

The four existing Geneva Conventions and their three additional protocols are globally recognized treaties that establish standards under international humanitarian law for the treatment of wounded troops in the field, soldiers shipwrecked at sea, prisoners of war, and civilians during armed conflicts. Violating the treaties amounts to a war crime.

"Despite calls for a fifth convention two decades ago, military conflict continues to destroy megafauna, push species to extinction, and poison water resources," notes Tuesday's letter. "The uncontrolled circulation of arms exacerbates the situation, for instance by driving unsustainable hunting of wildlife."

The letter—entitled "Stop Military Conflicts From Trashing Environment"—was spearheaded by Sarah M. Durant of the Zoological Society of London and José C. Brito of the University of Porto in Portugal. The 22 additional signatories (pdf) are affiliated with organizations and institutions in Egypt, France, Hong Kong, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Libya, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

"We call on governments to incorporate explicit safeguards for biodiversity, and to use the commission's recommendations to finally deliver a Fifth Geneva Convention to uphold environmental protection during such confrontations," says the letter, which recognizes that the U.N. commission is meeting this month to discuss expanding on the principles it has drafted (pdf) about protecting the environment in war zones.

Adopting an environment-focused convention "would provide a multilateral treaty that includes legal instruments for site-based protection of crucial natural resources," the letter explains. It also highlights the importance of companies and governments collaborating to regulate weapons transfers, and holding the military industry accountable for its impact on the environment.

Zoological Society of London's Durant told The Guardian in an interview published Wednesday that "the brutal toll of war on the natural world is well documented, destroying the livelihoods of vulnerable communities, and driving many species, already under intense pressure, towards extinction."

"We hope governments around the world will enshrine these protections into international law," she said. "This would not only help safeguard threatened species, but would also support rural communities, both during and post-conflict, whose livelihoods are long-term casualties of environmental destruction."

Durant's co-author Brito added that "the impacts of armed conflict are causing additional pressure to imperiled wildlife from the Middle East and North Africa. Global commitment is needed to avoid the likely extinction of emblematic desert fauna over the next decade."

A 2008 article from Worldwatch Institute—a U.S.-based environmental research group—details how "widespread concern about the environmental effects of warfare began with the American war in Vietnam," when soldiers infamously used the powerful herbicide known as Agent Orange to wipe out forest cover and crops.

Global concerns over the environmental effects of war arose again in the 1990s, when Iraqi forces burned Kuwaiti oil fields, and the United States used bombs and missiles that contained depleted uranium on Iraq. As The Guardian reported in 2014, "researchers have suggested the radiation from these weapons has poisoned the soil and water of Iraq, making the environment carcinogenic."

The letter in Nature is not the first demand that international rules of war be crafted to protect the environment. In 2007, the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), a U.K.-based charity, issued one such call.

CIWEM's then-executive director Nick Reeves said at the time that "long-term environmental damage is an inevitable consequence of war. The environment may seem a minor casualty but combined with the destruction of democratic informed decision-making, war prolongs human suffering and undermines the foundation for social progress and economic security."

"CIWEM demands a convention to examine the establishment of U.N. protocols for the protection of the environment," said Reeves. "We also need to acknowledge that fighting occurs where resources are scarce due to over population, meaning we need sensible population policies. We must treat the environment and each other with more respect."

Scientists Urge UN to Add Environmental Destruction to Geneva Conventions' List of War Crimes
"Despite calls for a fifth convention two decades ago, military conflict continues to destroy megafauna, push species to extinction, and poison water resources."

  • 'Racist' and 'Patently Unlawful': Trump Unveils New Rule to Block Asylum-Seekers at Southern Border
    https://www.commondreams.org/news/2019/07/15/racist-and-patently-unlawful-trump-unveils-new-rule-block-asylum-seekers-southern
    Jessica Corbett, staff writer

Immigrant rights advocates vowed to challenge a new "racist" and "patently unlawful" policy from the Trump administration—set to take effect Tuesday—that aims to block many refugees from being eligible for asylum at the U.S. southern border.

The highly anticipated and widely decried interim final rule (pdf), slated to be published in the Federal Register Tuesday by the Justice and Homeland Security departments, states that most asylum-seekers—including unaccompanied children—who travel through another country before reaching the U.S.-Mexico land border won't be eligible for asylum in the United States.

The Associated Press reported Monday that "there are some exceptions, including for victims of human trafficking and asylum-seekers who were denied protection in a country. If the country the migrant passed through did not sign one of the major international treaties governing how refugees are managed (though most Western countries signed them) a migrant could still apply for U.S. asylum."

"This rule is an outrageous violation of our obligation to protect families and individuals seeking safety," Amnesty International USA advocacy director for the Americas Charanya Krishnaswami declared Monday.

"This is nothing short of deliberate cruelty. While the Trump administration argues that this policy upholds the integrity of the asylum system, it actually destroys the institution of asylum as we know it," said Krishnaswami.

"Everyone seeking safety has the right to humane treatment and a fair asylum process, per international and domestic standards."

U.S. Attorney General William Barr claimed in a statement announcing the policy that the country "is being completely overwhelmed by the burdens associated with apprehending and processing hundreds of thousands of aliens along the southern border" and the rule "will decrease forum shopping by economic migrants and those who seek to exploit our asylum system to obtain entry to the United States."

Legal advocates for asylum-seekers warn that the attempted rule change is just the Trump administration's latest illegal attack on migrants—particularly those coming to the United States from Central America—and would have sweeping implications for those pleading for refuge from violence and poverty. As ACLU attorney Lee Gelernt put it to the AP, "the rule, if upheld, would effectively eliminate asylum for those at the southern border."

"The Trump administration is trying to unilaterally reverse our country's legal and moral commitment to protect those fleeing danger," Gelernt added in a statement. "This new rule is patently unlawful and we will sue swiftly."

RAICES, a Texas-based legal services nonprofit for immigrants and refugees, charged in a series of tweets Monday that "this is ending asylum protections for all minorities."

"It's racist and wrong on every level... It's also blatantly illegal," said RAICES. "We'll be challenging it in the courts and in the streets."

RAICES and other critics connected the rule to President Donald Trump's recent racist attacks on progressive Democratic Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.), and Rashida Tlaib (Mich.).

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights tweeted Monday, "The president's agenda continues to be an immoral public expression of a white supremacist fantasy."

This is far from the Trump administration's first attempt to curb asylum protections. The so-called "Remain in Mexico" policy, enacted in January, forces asylum-seekers to wait in Mexico while their applications are processed. Last year, the administration attempted to "obliterate" protections for survivors of domestic and gang violence by declaring they would no longer automatically qualify for asylum. Those policies provoked court battles, just as the new rule is expected to do.

The unveiling of the new asylum rule follows a fresh round of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in major cities nationwide that kicked off over the weekend. Though the raids so far have not resulted in the mass arrests and deportations that Trump has threatened, they have had the effect of generating widespread fear. Edgar Barrera, a 59-year-old business manager who is in the country illegally, told the Los Angeles Times that "people are terrified to go out on the streets."

The rule and raids come as the Trump administration continues to face global criticism for holding migrants in inhumane conditions and detaining children. As Common Dreams previously reported, Ocasio-Cortez, who recently visited a detention facility in Texas, testified to a House committee on Friday that "this is a manufactured crisis, because the cruelty is manufactured. This is a manufactured crisis because there's no need for us to do this."

"Turning away asylum-seekers at the border is cruel, inhumane, and illegal," CREDO Action co-director Heidi Hess said in a statement Monday.

"This latest, racist stunt by Donald Trump to further close our doors to migrants is proof-positive that he is willing to abuse all powers afforded to the presidency in order to further his bigoted and hateful views," she said. "House Democrats must stand with immigrant families and communities of color attacked by Trump every day and put a stop to his rampant destruction of our country's values by opening an impeachment inquiry immediately."

    Independence Day 2019

    Independence Day 2019

When the Hired Help took over, they didn't bother to tell us that we are the actual and lawful heirs, the landlords of this country.

If you don't remember who you are---if they can keep you in an ignorant and debased condition, kidnapped and enslaved in their foreign jurisdictions--- well, so much the better for them.

So it came down to us and two frightening questions: how do you restore a lawful government to a country and to a people shanghaied for decades? How do you return them home again after six generations lost at sea?

When people ask why they should support us, I have a question to ask them in return -- who else is standing up for you? Not the Queen. Not the Pope.

Who else served Due Process on the Trustees, on the Municipal Government, and on the Territorial Government, too?

Well, here we are, on the record, with thousands of pieces of registered mail to verify the effort.

Who asserted their standing and proved their provenance all the way back to the Armoricans and William the Conqueror?
Who lawfully summoned the States of the Union to Assemble?

Who else provided you with the tools needed to reclaim your own Lawful Person and return home to your natural domicile on the land?

We could have collected kick-back money, kept silent, and gone on like all the others who have been paid off since 1871.

    Could have. Didn't.

So why should you support us and what we are doing? Because we stood up for you, because we told you the truth. Is it such a stretch that you should stand up for us, too?

Our forefathers established a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, a lawful government which depends upon each one of us to self-govern not only our own lives, but the affairs of our individual States.

Where is that lawful government now? Look around as far as you can see, and you won't find any other organization operating in the proper jurisdiction, with the proper credentials and provenance to operate our Ship of State, The United States of America.

If you are Joe Average American, you should support us and what we are doing because we stand together to reclaim and restore your rights, your freedoms, your property assets and your lawful government.

We have shown the world the evidence of the unconscionable contracting practices and other acts of constructive fraud that have been employed against us (and you) as a means to press-gang, enslave, convert, and impersonate Americans.

We have called upon the actual Allies of the American People to enforce against these False Trustees --- and our Allies have answered. Like the Riders of Rohan--- they have come when the Watch Fires were lit.

And who lit the Watch Fires? We did.

We exposed the fact that we own the land mass of the Philippines and that the Philippine Government created in 1934 was granted independence specifically so that they could act as our Trustee and hold our physical gold assets until we should come and claim them.

Well, here we are, and there is nobody else with the standing to do so, who has pursued lawful due process and brought forward your claims and the claims of the lawful American Government.

We have made many friends who support us, but at the end of the day, we need to stand on our own two feet and take up the responsibilities of honest men and women.

This is our country. And we are its lawful government. That means we have to do the work. It's not something we can hire someone to do for us, and it's not something we can do alone. You are needed to take up an oar.

We exposed the fact that we, Americans, are owed all the land titles and patents owed to the Statehood Compact States, which means that you stand to inherit not only actual lawful possession of your own private property, but the public property of your States of the Union, free and clear of debt or encumbrance.

Who else did that for you?

We exposed the fact that we, Americans, are owed the gold that FDR confiscated from our grandparents under color of law.

We exposed the fact that we, Americans, are owed over $21 trillion dollars worth of credit as our National Credit.

We have debunked the claims of the pirates and the mercenaries when there was nobody else to do it, and now you ask --- why should you support us? How about this? Because we are the ones who have supported you.

If you are a Federal Military or Civil Service Employee, you should support us, too. Why? Because when you retire, you will want to come home and enjoy the freedom you fought for. You will want to be at peace. You will want the respect and care you deserve.

And how are you going to get that from a bunch of crooks bent on defrauding Americans and stealing everything in sight? Your freedom and your property rights depend on us, too, just as much as everyone else's.

If we don't uphold our "Natural and Unalienable Rights", there will be no reference standard for you to claim any "Equal Civil Rights". There will be nothing to be "equal" to.

So your fat is in the fire along with every other American.
This week, in despair, we deleted 85,000 emails. With our current resources and staffing levels there is no way to answer. We need volunteers. We need educational materials. We need prayers. We need money to continue this effort and expand it.

There are now Americans populating the land jurisdiction of all fifty states, but a great deal more remains to be done. The People need to be educated and enabled to run the government they are owed.

We are restoring the lawful government one office and one volunteer at a time. And that's why you need to support the effort, need to get your own political status records corrected, and need to join your State Assembly.

The American Dream is still alive and kicking, but it depends on you as much as anyone. This Fourth of July--- think it through. It's not just a matter of what our Forefathers did. It's a matter of what you do, too.

We could make an earnest plea for more donations, because we surely need them, but don't think that throwing money at it will answer all the needs and serve all the causes. [Paypal address is: avannavon@gmail.com. Snail mail donations should be sent to: Anna Maria Riezinger, c/o Box 520994, Big Lake, Alaska 99652.]

We need your minds, your skills, your time, your care, and your ability to communicate, too. It takes living people to run a lawful government. It takes a whole cadre of dedicated Americans in every State taking care of their own.

Now, we aren't saying this is an easy prospect, but its what has to be done. Americans have faced far greater challenges and won.

Meantime, millions of people worldwide need to be brought along and educated, too, because this same vicious system of Corporate Feudalism has been employed worldwide to enslave and demean and devalue everyone.

It's not just an American problem or an American need to live in peace and dignity. So let's build on what our Forefathers gave us and make it count. Let the lessons learned be fully internalized so that we never forget who we are, and never fail to meet any challenge to our sovereignty.

  • G-d said, for I am God and not a man
G-d said, for I am God and not a man. Contrary to pagan thought, throughout the Bible we are taught not to confuse Gd and Man. For example, in Hosea 11:9, Gd explicitly tells us, '...for I am Gd and not a man.' All of the great Jewish figures of the Hebrew Bible -- the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, Moses, King David and others -- are shown as fully human, not divine. הקב"ה אמר, כי אני...
