Okay so maybe little Donnie can't buy Greenland, the latest shiny object of his cold dark dumb heart's desire, after snickering pols there and in Denmark retorted in no uncertain terms it's “open for business, but not for sale,” and what is this lunatic idiot's problem anyway?

Still, Twitter had a riotous time with this new diversion from our apocalyptic reality. So many questions, so little time before none of this is even remotely amusing: Will Mexico pay for it? Did Ivanka ask for a Greenland?

What about helping Flint and Puerto Rico instead? Does he think it's green and ripe for his inevitable golf course?

Should we rent it first to see if we like it? Maybe see if he can find it on a map before letting him buy it?

Will he fill it with brown people, sexual assault accusers, Democrats and MSNBC pundits?

Will our president, that "enormous drooling git," accept this enticing, Nigerian-Prince-flavored offer? "Honored sirs," it read. "I am PRINCE KIELSEN and I am contacting you with exciting opportunity. I recently inherited an island but need a small amount of cash. Send a money order for $600,000,000 to my account and I will give you “Greenland.”

Tough call, but faithful Twitter was there with advice: "Make sure you get the money up front." Also, "He'll just smother it in gold leaf and try to flip it to Norway," "There goes infrastructure week," and, "Let us know when you will be free to pick up the Internet you have just won."

The New Yorker's Andy Borowitz was right behind them. After the Danish government reiterated that Greenland is not for sale, he reports, they noted "during the Trump regime pretty much everything in the United States, including its government, has most definitely been for sale.”

Thus did Denmark then offer to purchase the United States "in its entirety, with the exception of its government." If its bid is accepted, Denmark adds, it has big plans: “We believe that by giving the U.S. an educational system and national health care, it could be transformed from a vast land mass into a great nation.”

Denmark! Free college tuition, healthcare, child care. Paid vacation and parental leave. Living wage, progressive taxation, the blissful characteristic hygge making all things cozy. "Sold!" proclaimed one eager patriot. "When can we expect delivery?"

From a weary, battered populace mired in our national nightmare, the grateful consensus burst forth: "Thank God."

gerard-butlerWhile some actors would capitalize on a box office hit like Law Abiding Citizen by seeking the biggest payday in the marketplace, Gerard Butler is going a different way. He has teamed with director Marc Forster to tell the story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing biker tough guy who found God and became a crusader for hundreds of Sudanese children who’ve been kidnapped and pressed into duty as soldiers.

Butler wants to play Childers in Machine Gun Preacher, which Forster will direct from a script he developed with screenwriter Jason Keller. After watching an NBC Dateline news story on Childers’ crusade, producer Robbie Brenner and Keller tracked him down to secure the rights to his memoir Another Man‘s War: The True Story of One Man‘s Battle to Save Children in the Sudan. Childers’ response, according to insiders, was something like, “Who the hell are you, and why the fuck should I trust you with my life story?” Raised by a tough ironworker father and taught to be a brawler with a hatred of bullies, Childers emerged from a dead-end future to become a preacher who found some real bullies to battle. Moved by the stories of the atrocities committed by rebels under the command of Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army, Childers established an orphanage to house 200 children, then formed a militia to protect them, recover other kidnapped kids, and dispense outlaw justice on their captors. The Keller script was developed independently with funding from Gary Safady’s and Craig Chapman’s Kaushi Entertainment. (Safady is a real estate entrepreneur.) Forster and his Apparatus partner Brad Simpson are producing with Brenner, Deborah Giarratana, and the Kaushi duo.

Working with Forster who’s known for coaxing good performances out of actors (i.e. Monsters Ball), Keller turned in a script that hooked Butler who wants the chance to show some acting chops to go with his 300 brawn. If he has his way, Machine Gun Preacher will start production later this year. The package is now being shopped for production financing by CAA and Management 360.

Keller is an up and coming writer who recently turned in a draft on the Fox film about the 1960s rivalry for sportscar supremacy between Ferrari and Ford, Race to the Death. Forster is attached to several projects — The Chancellor Manuscript, and the zombie saga World War Z with Brad Pitt at Paramount, and Angelology at Sony.

How Do CBD Gummies Compare to Other CBD Products?
Who doesn’t love candy? That’s probably the question companies were asking when they first decided to pair CBD and candy together in one harmonious marriage. With the rise of CBD, it’s only natural for edibles to follow suit. Not everyone is a fan of the grassy flavor of raw hemp oil, so gummies and edibles are a perfect way to dull down that flavor. While the delicious variety of flavors that gummies come in make them a no-brainer for some, for people with specific dietary restrictions or allergies they might not be the best choice.

    The Benefits of CBD Gummies
Buying CBD gummies and other edibles are especially helpful for people who want to have more precise control over their dosage. Each pack or bottle notes the exact amount of CBD in milligrams in each gummy or treat of your choosing, allowing the user to tailor the amount depending on the desired effect. Because they are consumed orally, CBD gummies can also produce longer lasting effects than other consumption methods like oils, CBD topicals, or vaporizers.
Even though CBD has only just found mainstream popularity in the last few years, there has been quite a bit of research done on its benefits and potential uses.

    CBD AND ANXIETY
Among the most common uses of CBD gummies is helping people better manage their anxiety. While some of the properties of THC can increase anxiety among users, CBD helps to relax the mind and body by balancing out the endocannabinoid system. Some of the benefits of using CBD gummies for anxiety include reducing panic attacks associated with clinical anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder as well as reducing symptoms of seasonal affective disorder.

    CBD AND PAIN
It can be tough to find the right solution to get rid of chronic pain without dealing with nasty side effects associated with prescription painkillers. CBD has been proven to reduce inflammation and treat some of the painful symptoms of joint pain, arthritis, and muscle spasms. It’s even being used to reduce complications associated with Crohn’s disease.

    CBD AND SLEEP
CBD can be a great solution to insomnia or restless nights. It’s a common misconception that THC makes users sleepy and lethargic. While that’s true, the THC in cannabis products actually blocks you from reaching deep REM sleep. The REM cycle helps restore your body and is what makes you feel rested the next day. Popping a CBD gummy before bed will calm your nervous system and help you reach a deeper state of REM sleep.

  • You Don’t Save Money By Forcing People to Go Hungry
    https://www.commondreams.org/views/2019/08/01/you-dont-save-money-forcing-people-go-hungry
    Jill Richardson

The Trump administration has proposed a rule that will cut an estimated 3 million eligible people off food stamps while depriving half a million eligible children of school lunch.

    I’ve been on food stamps.

I spent most of my life with mental illness, and it was not diagnosed until a few years ago. Not knowing there was a reason everything was so difficult for me, I pushed myself until I could push no more.

I got good grades in school, and went to college on a scholarship. I got my degree and then got a full-time job like I thought I was supposed to.

I began getting severe migraines every day at the age of 14. That was my body telling me that I was doing more than I could handle and I needed to stop and heal. I had a migraine every day for 23 years. Working was hellish and painful, and I still tried.

For every $5 the U.S. government spends on food stamps, it generates $9 in economic activity. That’s an incredibly effective stimulus.

When I could no longer handle an office job, I tried being self-employed and working from home. I could never make enough to really get by on. Then I went on food stamps. It didn’t mean I could stop working. I got $70 a month so I could eat, but I still had to pay rent and put gas in my car, and for that, I worked.

Food stamps did its job for me. It helped me get through a tough time until I could get back on my own two feet.

I’m fortunate I didn’t have children. If I did, my kids would have suffered through my financial insecurity through no fault of their own. But food stamps and school lunch would have helped ensure they had a chance in life despite being born to a mom too sick to make ends meet.

While the moral righteousness of food stamps justifies the program on its own, there are other benefits to it as well.

Food stamps are a huge stimulus to the economy. Families spend their SNAP benefits to buy food from local businesses like grocery stores, and that creates jobs — from the store clerk stocking the shelves, to the truck driver transporting the food, to the farmers and ranchers producing the food.

For every $5 the U.S. government spends on food stamps, it generates $9 in economic activity. That’s an incredibly effective stimulus.

Federal school breakfast and lunch programs do more than help food security too — they help kids succeed. Imagine trying to pay attention or take a test while you’re hungry. School breakfast and lunch helps kids from low income families break the cycle of poverty when they grow up, because it helps them benefit more from their education.

The movement to cut low-income people who are eligible for food stamps and school lunch off of those programs isn’t just immoral, it’s short-sighted.

The Trump administration claims the measure will save money because there will be less federal spending on helping hungry people eat. In addition to the cruelty of “saving money” by taking food from the hungry, it will also ultimately harm the nation by removing the economic stimulus that food stamps provide and making it that much harder for half a million already poor kids to do well in school.

Forcing kids to go hungry is a lose-lose.

  • ARCHAEOLOGY NEWSFLASH NO.795

    ANCIENT TUNNELS UNDER THE SEA?

"Oh, that's just too much!" sniggered my neighbour's brother, when he told him about some of our expeditions. "I have to meet this nut."

    So Brian brought him over.

"Are you telling me," said Brian's brother, "that the ancient ones could really excavate such tunnels?"

"I have been into two of this tunnel systems myself."

    He looked at me. "Really?"

"You'd better believe it," I responded. "My wife is a witness. She went in with me."

"But under the sea, as well?"

"But what's the difference?" I asked. "If you are away, deep underground, why not?"

Brian's brother looked thoughtful. "Do you have anything I can read while I'm here on holiday?"

"Sure, come over to the office."

I'm glad to say that Brian's brother was an honest man. At least, he had an open mind. And that's when the truth can sink in.

Yes, there are, if we are to credit a number of reports, such tunnels.

Not only that - but maps also, that track some of these long forgotten tunnels not only beneath the earth, but under the sea.

You may discover one running from Spain to Morocco.Even some locals will admit that.

But you will probably agree those which penetrate under the larger Atlantic and Pacific Oceans would be more intriguing.

    (See Dead Men’s Secrets, ch.19, items 22, 37, 47, 50, 64, 68, 69 and p.205)

Of all responses to my book Dead Men’s Secrets, the chapter on ancient tunnels has attracted the most interest.

Naturally enough, the mention of large systems of tunnels has elicited scepticism from some dear people.

You hear them ask, understandably enough, How could the ancient races have had such technology?

Why haven’t we heard more about these tunnels? And ifit's true, then why haven't we, with all our advanced technology, been able to accomplish something similar? And so on.

In fact, a few dear folk have even accused me of making it up.

Okay, I'll come clean. For quite some time I found myself agreeing with the tunnel sceptic that such ambitious construction projects were beyond our capabilities.

    LASER-CUT TUNNELS?

From their appearance, it seemed that some of these tunnels could not have been drilled except by some kind of thermal drill or electron rays, which melted the rock but left no debris.

    Beyond our present capabilities?

I now have to turn this into a question… because it seems very likely that we are catching up fast – and we may have even caught up – to this particular accomplishment of our ancestors.

Here is the truth: the technology for constructing tunnels hundreds, even thousands, of feet below the ocean floor does now exist.

The experience, the expertise, the machinery and the trained personnel are available. And - for secret government projects - even the money is no drawback.

You should bear in mind that the petroleum industry routinely bores into the deep rock beneath the floor of the ocean.

    ENORMOUS SPEED OF TUNNEL CREATION

There is evidence available that existing tunnel boring machines are capable of advancing even through fractured rock at an average rate of five miles per year.

Given better conditions, it is well within the state of the art to make advances through rock of ten or more miles per year.

With only one machine and crew, a tunnel system 100 miles long could definitely be constructed within a period of 10 to 20 years.

Employing five machines, 500 or more miles could certainly be excavated within the same time period.

This capability is real. For example, in the early 1980s a tunnel boring machine was used by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company to bore a 24 foot 1 inch diameter, 22,000 foot long tunnel.

This was for construction of the Kerckhoff 2 Underground Hydroelectric Power plant, about 30 miles north-east of Fresno, California. Typical rates of progress were from 60 to 100 feet per day.

If one assumes 365 days of work per year, this would achieve about 5½ miles of tunnel per year. (Edward R. Kennedy, P.E., “The Kerckhoff 2 Underground Hydroelectric Power Plant Project, A State-of-the-Art Application of a Tunnel Boring Machine”, US National Committee on Tunnelling Technology, Tunnelling Technology Newsletter, number 38, June 1982)

At a meeting with government leaders of South Korea, the then Japanese prime minister Yoshiro Mori proposed a 108 mile tunnel under the sea to link the two countries.

    "THE PROBLEM IS MONEY"

Mr Mori stated: “The construction is technically possible, but the problem is money.” (India Times)

Richard Sauder, writing in Nexus, says, “The money to carry out a secret project of this sort certainly exists in the Pentagon’s ‘black budget’.

The requisite infrastructure of secrecy to carry out such a project has been in place in the military-industrial complex for decades now.

And there is even a paper trail that shows US Navy interest in building manned bases deep below the ocean floor.” (Nexus, “The Evidence for Secret Underwater Bases”, August-September 2001, p.28)

All over the world there are mine tunnels that extend offshore under the sea. (Shan-tung Lu, “Undersea Coal Mining”, paper presented to the Department of Mining, College of Mineral Industries; George E. Sleight, Transactions of the Institution of Mining Engineers, vol. 112, pp.521-541; J.T. Robertson, Canadian Mining Journal, December 1964, pp.70-71)

A United states Navy document from 1966 forthrightly discusses major military installations constructed beneath the sea bed.

It states that, “Large undersea installations with a shirt-sleeve environment have existed under the continental shelves for many decade."

The technology now exists, using off-the-shelf petroleum, mining, submarine, and nuclear equipment, to establish permanent manned installations within the sea floor that do not have any air umbilical or other connection with the land or water surface, yet maintain a normal one-atmosphere environment within….

“…a Rock-Site installation consists of a room or series of rooms, excavated within the bedrock beneath the sea floor, using the in situ bedrock as the construction material.”

    ENORMOUS ROOMS UNDER THE SEA

It should be noted that these “rooms” under the sea are probably enormous.

An underground power plant in the Himalayan Mountains of Bhutan is hundreds of feet long and over 100 feet high!

Lloyd A. Duscha, former Deputy Director of Engineering and Construction for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Washington, DC, said in a public speech:

“There are other projects of similar scope, which I cannot identify, but which included multiple chambers up to 50 feet wide and 100 feet high using the same excavation procedures…”

If you didn’t know, tunnelling under oceans, seas, bays and estuaries has been done for a very, very long time, all over the world, stretching way back at least into the 19th century, if not before.

2,000 FEET UNDER THE SEA BED

Undersea tunnels can stretch for miles and reach depths of 2,000 feet or more beneath the ocean floor.

Of course, today’s technology is far more powerful and sophisticated than it was 50, 100 or 150 years ago. One can only speculate as to how long, how deep and how elaborate contemporary, clandestine, submarine tunnels might be.

And perhaps there exists an even more sophisticated tunnelling technology than what we are being told about.

After 30 years researching high technology, Norio Haykawa reports:

“In 1950, we had some amazing tunnelling machines, using nuclear devices that could go 10 miles an hour melting the hard, tougher rocks and creating tunnels.”

He refers to military tunnels allegedly linking facilities in Nevada with others in California. (“The Prophecy Club”, Secrets of Dreamland – video on top secret government research centres)

ARCHAEOLOGY NEWSFLASH NO.795 ANCIENT TUNNELS UNDER THE SEA? "Oh, that's just too much!" sniggered my neighbour's brother, when he told him about some of our expeditions. "I have to meet this nut." So Brian brought him over. "Are you telling me," said Brian's brother, "that the ancient ones could really excavate such tunnels?" "I have been into two of this tunnel systems myself." He looked at me. "Really?" "You'd better believe it," I responded. "My wife is a witness. She went in with me." "But under the sea, as well?" "But what's the difference?" I asked. "If you are away, deep underground, why not?" Brian's brother looked thoughtful. "Do you have anything I can read while I'm here on holiday?" "Sure, come over to the office." I'm glad to say that Brian's brother was an honest man. (See Dead Men’s Secrets, ch.19, items 22, 37, 47, 50, 64, 68, 69 and p.205) Of all responses to my book Dead Men’s Secrets, the chapter on ancient tunnels has attracted the most interest. SOLOMON'S TREASURE FOUND

Yes, where is this precious treasure?

    * What happened to the hidden gold of Solomon’s Temple?
    * Has the most priceless artifact on earth – the Ark of the Covenant - now been found?
    * Is its location really known?

The truth will stagger you! So much so, that the host government walks on a knife edge. So you won’t see it yet.

And linked with these tantalising questions, are others:

    * Did Phoenician ships really come to the Americas?
    * Where did King Solomon get his gold?
    * What was the SINGLE stated reason that his magnificent Temple was constructed?

And you can bury the critics.

    PHOENICIAN VOYAGES

Do you want the truth? Navigation across open ocean was no problem to these explorers.

Due to the insufficient attention paid to this aspect of the subject, we have tended to belittle the size and sophistication of Phoenician shipping.

There is evidence that they had the benefit of sophisticated instruments and large, fast, modern vessels carrying over 500 people. This will be a surprise to many readers.

    SILVER AS CHEAP AS STONES

Anyway, suddenly, in the 10th century BC we find gold and silver in such abundance in Jerusalem that Israel’s king Solomon “made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones for abundance.” So reports the Hebrew book of 1 Kings. (ch.10:27)

And why? "... for the king had at sea a navy of Tarshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tarshish, bringing gold and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.” (v. 22)

Hiram was a Phoenician king. And the Israelites and Phoenicians were allies. They sent out global expeditions together.

There can be no question that the peacocks came from south-East Asia. But whence the abundance of silver?

    OUR WOEFUL MODERN IGNORANCE

Because of the depth of ignorance into which Europe fell during the Dark Ages, at times we are apt to forget how advanced were the ideas of the ancients, and how much they knew about the earth and about astronomy and navigation.

Harvard professor Barry Fell concurs. (“America BC: Ancient Settlers in the New World”, p.88)

Hands on researchers in South America are firmly convinced that the Phoenicians traded with South America. Today there is a whole library full of their reports. The Phoenicians even left inscriptions there.

    KING SOLOMON’S RIVER

It now appears that the Americas were the source of much of the gold and silver that found its way to Solomon’s temple.

There is good reason to believe that the ships of King Solomon (975-935 BC) had once come to the Amazon; that the gold countries of Ophir, Tarshish and Parvaim were NOT to be looked for in the Old World at all, BUT HERE in the Amazon region on the Rio Solimoes, Solomon’s River.

But that is another subject (and it is covered in my book “Ark of the Covenant”).

    SOLOMON – FACT OR FABLE?

By the way, has anyone told you that Solomon never existed? Well, you can lay that idea to rest. Here are just a few reasons why:

    * Israeli geologists announced on January 12, 2003 that they had examined a stone tablet dating to 800 BC which detailed repair plans for the Jewish Temple of King Solomon. Tests confirmed it to be authentic.

    * Independently kept copies of a treaty that King Solomon made with Hiram, king of the Phoenician city of Tyre were preserved by the Phoenicians.

    * An independent Ethiopian epic, the “Kebra Nagast”, written about 850 BC, tells the story of an Ethiopian queen’s visit to King Solomon of Israel and of the enormous riches and gifts that he showered upon her.

    * An ancient record in Srinagar, India, declares that Solomon visited there.

    * A monument inscription found in 1984 on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Aqaba bears King Solomon’s name.

You can believe it. Solomon was real.

    CRITICS OUT OF DATE

Biblical writings have come under attack from some critics.

These critics, acting with woefully incomplete information, have simply rushed to judgement.

About 150 years ago, there was virtually no modern biblical archaeology to “test” their assertions.

The critics did not know that hundreds of later historical and archaeological discoveries would support the Bible’s accuracy. And in surprising detail.

Today, there is no excuse. From numerous independent records we know that the people, places and events the biblical writers wrote about, were real.

From a hands-on field archaeologist, here is the bottom line.Time and continued research have demonstrated that historically the Bible is better informed than its critics.

    SOLOMON’S MAGNIFICENT TEMPLE

The tremendous wealth that poured into Israel from these global expeditions can be appreciated to some extent when we reflect on the magnificence of Solomon’s Temple.

It has been calculated that this famous building contained 86 tons of gold and 126 tons of silver.

    INCREDIBLE CONSTRUCTION METHOD

And the technological expertise involved was ingenious.

The first book of Kings reports that it "was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.” (1 Kings 6:7)

    SIZE AND BEAUTY

Can you imagine it? Some of those massive stones were as long as a bus... from 10 to 40 feet long by 6 feet wide. One of them at least weighed approximately 445 tons.

They were pre-cut, then transported from the quarry and slid into place so accurately that it would be difficult to find the seams.

The splendour of Solomon’s Temple would defy comprehension.

Nowhere on the face of this planet did a structure of such size and beauty command the awe of man.

Travellers from many lands would travel great distances just to set eyes on this Temple, never to be disappointed.

Its array of shining metals and precious stones was dazzling beyond belief.

This enormous Temple featured planks of cedar and cypress - fir trees hand-crafted to expose their elegant grains.

The entire structure was overlaid on the inside with gold. Precious stones of onyx and marble were seen in abundance.

Silver, brass and iron were used in the Temple. Outer courtyards and inner chambers were adorned with high-reaching palm trees and colourful flowers.

Using modern equipment capable of determining very precisely the isotopic content of different metals, it has been shown that the lead used in drainpipes in the area of Solomon’s Temple came from the Mendip Hills in Somerset, Britain.

This type of analysis is made possible because lead samples from different locations contain varying amounts of the isotopes of lead, resulting from the decay of radioactive materials.

Similarly with tin. The Temple was adorned with plenty of bronze, and this alloy was made by adding tin to copper in the smelting. The presence of tin caused the copper to become much harder and less easily tarnished.

Tests show that it was British tin that was used by Solomon. The date was about 1000 BC.

    MYSTERIOUS TECHNOLOGY USED

Two cast pillars of brass stood boldly at the entrance.According to an old tradition, the two great pillars were hollow. Stored inside them, according to the same tradition, were "ancient records" and "valuable writings" pertaining to the past of the Hebrew people.

And included among these records had been information on something known as the shamir. (Alexander Home, “King Solomon’s Temple in Masonic Tradition”, p.219)

You may wonder, what was this mysterious shamir?

Moses had instructed his people not to use "any iron tool" in the construction of the holy places.

And Solomon likewise directed that no hammers, axes or chisels should be used to cut and dress the stone blocks with which the Temple would be built.

Instead, according to Jewish sources, he provided the workmen with an ancient device called the shamir, that had been used in the time of Moses to engrave writing on the precious stones of the high priest’s breastplate. (Louis Ginsberg, “The Legends of the Jews”, vol I, p.34 and vol. IV, p.166)

Known as "the stone that splits rocks," the shamir was capable of cutting the toughest materials without friction or heat. This included "the remarkable property of cutting the hardest of diamonds".

There must have been something special about the shamir, for it was said:

“The shamir may not be put in an iron vessel for safekeeping, nor in any metal vessel: it would burst such a receptacle asunder. It is kept wrapped up in a woolen cloth, and this in turn is placed in a lead basket filled with barley bran.”With the destruction of the Temple the shamir vanished.

Islamic traditions concerning the shamir parallelled those of the Jews, with the additional statement that it had been quite noiseless while it was at work.

    VOTAN’S TRIP TO MEDITERRANEAN

From the other side of the world we have the record of Votan, the first historian of the Maya, who lived around 1000 BC. Votan had come originally from the Phoenician city of Chivim, on the eastern Mediterranean coast.

He records that he later made four or more visits to his former home.

On one of these trips he visited a great city wherein a magnificent Temple was in the course of construction, thought by a number of researchers to have been Jerusalem.

Was it Solomon’s Temple that visitors from as far away as the Americas came to see? Possibly. According to other ancient records, "all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom.”

    BUILT SPECIFICALLY FOR THE ARK

Why did King Solomon build his famous Temple? Would you have guessed this?: It was for one purpose - to house the Ark of the Covenant! That reason was actually given in the records they left behind.

That magnificent Temple of fabulous wealth and world renown was specifically conceived and built, for what purpose, but to enshrine the Ark of the Covenant! That was its reason to be!

The actual room known as the Holy of Holies, in which the Ark stood, was a perfect cube - and immensely strong. It measured just over 34 feet long, by 34 feet wide, by 34 feet high.

Its floor, walls and ceiling were lined with fine gold, weighing an estimated 45,000 pounds, that is, more than 20 tons! And it was all riveted with golden nails.

So, what was so important about the Ark of the Covenant? And what became of it when Solomon’s Temple was destroyed?

There have been many decoys, if you wish – and many claims. It took our team years to track down the facts. And a recent expedition took it further.

This priceless artifact has been found – and its location will stagger you! So much so, that the Middle Eastern host government walks on a knife edge. So you won’t see it yet.

Perhaps that’s enough for you know. But if you would like to dig into this further, here’s where to start: http://www.beforeus.com/aoc.html

Anyway, until next time, please keep safe.

    Very best wishes,
    Jonathan Gray

ARCHAEOLOGY NEWSFLASH NO.793 SOLOMON'S TREASURE FOUND Yes, where is this precious treasure? * What happened to the hidden gold of Solomon’s Temple? * Has the most priceless artifact on earth – the Ark of the Covenant - now been found? * Is its location really known? The truth will stagger you! So much so, that the host government walks on a knife edge. So you won’t see it yet. And linked with these tantalising questions, are others: * Did Phoenician ships really come to the Americas? * Where did King Solomon get his gold? * What was the SINGLE stated reason that his magnificent Temple was constructed? And you can bury the critics. PHOENICIAN VOYAGES Do you want the truth? Navigation across open ocean was no problem to these explorers. Due to the insufficient attention paid to this aspect of the subject, we have tended to belittle the size and sophistication of Phoenician shipping. There is evidence that they had the benefit of sophisticated instruments and large, fast, modern vessels carrying over 500 people. This will be a surprise to many readers. SILVER AS CHEAP AS STONES Anyway, suddenly, in the 10th century BC we find gold and silver in such abundance in Jerusalem that Israel’s king Solomon “made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones for abundance.” So reports the Hebrew book of 1 Kings. (ch.10:27) And why? "... for the king had at sea a navy of Tarshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tarshish, bringing gold and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.” (v. 22) Hiram was a Phoenician king. And the Israelites and Phoenicians were allies. They sent out global expeditions together. There can be no question that the peacocks came from south-East Asia. But whence the abundance of silver? OUR WOEFUL MODERN IGNORANCE Because of the depth of ignorance into which Europe fell during the Dark Ages, at times we are apt to forget how advanced were the ideas of the ancients, and how much they knew about the earth and about astronomy and navigation. Harvard professor Barry Fell concurs. (“America BC: Ancient Settlers in the New World”, p.88) Hands on researchers in South America are firmly convinced that the Phoenicians traded with South America. Today there is a whole library full of their reports. The Phoenicians even left inscriptions there. KING SOLOMON’S RIVER It now appears that the Americas were the source of much of the gold and silver that found its way to Solomon’s temple. Here are just a few reasons why: * Israeli geologists announced on January 12, 2003 that they had examined a stone tablet dating to 800 BC which detailed repair plans for the Jewish Temple of King Solomon. CRITICS OUT OF DATE Biblical writings have come under attack from some critics. SOLOMON’S MAGNIFICENT TEMPLE The tremendous wealth that poured into Israel from these global expeditions can be appreciated to some extent when we reflect on the magnificence of Solomon’s Temple. It has been calculated that this famous building contained 86 tons of gold and 126 tons of silver. INCREDIBLE CONSTRUCTION METHOD And the technological expertise involved was ingenious. The first book of Kings reports that it "was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.” (1 Kings 6:7) SIZE AND BEAUTY Can you imagine it? MYSTERIOUS TECHNOLOGY USED Two cast pillars of brass stood boldly at the entrance.According to an old tradition, the two great pillars were hollow. Stored inside them, according to the same tradition, were "ancient records" and "valuable writings" pertaining to the past of the Hebrew people. And included among these records had been information on something known as the shamir. (Alexander Home, “King Solomon’s Temple in Masonic Tradition”, p.219) You may wonder, what was this mysterious shamir? Moses had instructed his people not to use "any iron tool" in the construction of the holy places. And Solomon likewise directed that no hammers, axes or chisels should be used to cut and dress the stone blocks with which the Temple would be built. Instead, according to Jewish sources, he provided the workmen with an ancient device called the shamir, that had been used in the time of Moses to engrave writing on the precious stones of the high priest’s breastplate. (Louis Ginsberg, “The Legends of the Jews”, vol I, p.34 and vol. IV, p.166) Known as "the stone that splits rocks," the shamir was capable of cutting the toughest materials without friction or heat.
